I’m not all the way there yet

Let me start by saying I am not where I wanna be but baby I damn sho ain’t where I used to be. Before I “Consciously” began my spiritual/self-journey I was just as lost as any other human honestly. No guidance, no role models, jus nothing everything honey I learned from experience, observation or research.

Those who have known me my entire life literally have no idea who I am maybe a clue but not the complete idea. Literally! I’ve always been misconstrued, I’ve learned to be less frustrated about that BUT the shit still irks me sometimes to not be understood can be very frustrating sometimes but that’s when I take in consideration that maybe I am just not explaining myself correctly; and the fact that everyone’s journey is different so some things they might not actually understand yet. So, I’m always taking those experiences and dissecting what I could have said, done, or probably shouldn’t have done differently; trying to recognize the root cause of the misunderstanding. Not always successful but I like to learn so it’s still beneficial. In some situations, my frustrations don’t stem from being “misunderstood” but the stubbornness of the receiving person refusing to see a different perspective that shit is annoying as fuck honey but to each it’s fucking own!
